About

For a long time, my practice has concerned the act of walking. I like to walk. It is my preferred mode of transport (especially when alone). It provides opportunity to move at my own pace, to observe and experience my surroundings without interruption. I can focus on the minutiae and linger on aspects of sites’ which interest me.

I use clay to explore how the systems of an environment, its rhythms and juxtapositions of material can alter our perception of place.
